Though Oscar’s relationship with Mildred ended, they each still longed for each other and hated the man who had ended their marital plans.
Did Quigley Sooner kill him after Quigley tried to blackmail him but the attempted blackmail backfired.
The rich and powerful Mildred Williams was in love and she thought for sure she and Oscar DeLoach would soon set their wedding date. Oscar truly loved Mildred and enjoyed their passionate love making. But still, he also had desires for men. When Mildred discovers Oscar’s other pleasure, will that be enough to end their relationship for all eternity or will they find their way back together?
Then there is the mystery that involves the death of one the men who had forced Mildred to face the truth about Oscar. Douglas Heimer ends up dead and his maid is convicted of the murder but did she do it?
This story takes place mostly in Lasso, Kansas in the year 1877 with Sheriff Danny Perkins, Mr. Pups, Henry Oaks, Tuxy Handle, Rainy Crawfish Jones, Deputy Lester Badly and other fun loving characters.
